Super Bowl and skiing are upon us. And what does everyone want on game day and after an exhilarating day on the slopes?

Chili!!


And this chili is like no other - we use fresh, chopped meat, three types of beans and my very favorite chocolate - "Wicked" by Jacques Torres which is a house blend of 60% Dark Chocolate and Jacques secret blend of spices that includes ancho and chipotle chilies. And I can not forget to mention a good portion of a favorite pale ale. Roasted Carrot & Ginger with a side of Honey-Lime Sour Cream!

The vegetarian soup this week will be Roasted Carrot & Ginger with a side of Honey-Lime Sour Cream to dollop on your heated soup. This recipe came from my friend Joyce who has been after me to create my version of a carrot soup.

Well, Joyce did just that - she created my version of carrot soup!

This soup is vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free & gluten-free...and it still tastes delicious!
